JPMORGAN CHASE: THE WAITING WORKFORCE
For JPMorgan Chase, Droga5 developed an art installation titled The Waiting Workforce: 38 statues of abstract people representing the states that have yet to pass Clean Slate legislation. This legislation would help 1 in 3 Americans who have a criminal record find meaningful work by automatically clearing records that are eligible for expungement. The statues were composed of 2 million pieces of expungement paperwork and housed in a 40ft. x 20ft. x 10ft. container in front of Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the first state to pass these laws. The entire post-production for this project was completed in six days.
