Cloning an illiterate mother's voice so she can have storytime with her boys

PROLITERACY: THE IMPOSSIBLE BEDTIME STORY
For ProLiteracy, an international nonprofit that helps illiterate adults learn to read and write, Droga5 used voice cloning technology to give one of their students, Felicia, the opportunity to have storytime with her children in her own voice. The film below shares Felicia’s story as well as the cloned voice that allowed her family to have their first ever bedtime story together. All done with a total budget of $60,000.
